Alien League: Very, very thin font. Interesting for a line, not so great for only a word or a block of text. Looks a bit like a bar code.Examples: xCorabael: Great for a word here and there, definitely not for a lot text. Great y’s and f’s, but it doesn’t have punctuation marks.Examples: x  x  x
Courier New:Loos great, but not always easy to use as it gets pixellated very fast and I almost always need a double layer for it to be readable. Not very good for small text, but it can be a fun font.Examples: x  x  x  x
Elephant: Not very special but still a little different than other fonts. Not always very readable. Broadway is also a good alternative for this.Examples: x  x
Fangtasia:Very swirly with the t’s, fun to use for a couple of words.Examples: x  x
Folks (Bold):Can be used for a lot of text, but not very interesting to play with size/italics/upper-and lowercase etc in one graphic because it starts to look messy.Examples: x  x
Frail:Bit of a weird font. Not always useable, but it can look cool.Examples: x  x
Futura:Rounder than Futura LT Condensed, but very readable and good for lots of text.Examples: x  x  x  x  x  x  x  x
Futura LT Condensed:FAVORITE. I use it so much :D Especially on gifs. The letters are thin, so you can put a lot of words in one line, it’s vey readable and playing with size, uppercase/lowercase, italics, space between your letters, etc. makes it look very different.Examples: x  x  x  x  x  x  x  x  x  x
Georgia / Times New Roman (probably on your computer already):Oldies but goodies. I personally don’t really see much difference between them, to be honest :D But you can use them for a block of text, you can use them in all-capslock, and they’re really great when you want to change up the size of your words. Playing with the space between the letters can give a different look as well.Examples: x  x  x  x  x  x  x  x  x
Katy Berry:Cute swirly font. Hearts instead of dots, so not something to put on everything.Examples: x x
PTF Nordic Rnd:A bit on the boring side, but very readable and useable.Examples: x  x
Pea Lyndal:Very cool y’s, t’s and j’s. Not always very readable and takes some fitting when you have more than a couple words, but can look very cool. Examples: x x
Pea Mee-Mee:Fun and swirly, good for a couple words but definitely not for a block of text.Examples: x
Pump Demi Bold:Fun and readable. I really like this one in italic.Examples: x  x  x
Rockwell:Similar to Courier New, but easier to use as it’s thicker..Examples: x

Almost everything here is in Beta. The mechanics are all final, but the music and graphics are all version 0.1. I intend to completely change the battle graphics as the first point of business. Able to help? Send me a message!

‘Cause I’m leaving on a jet plane
Don’t know when I’ll be back again

[1950’s Klaine Airforce AU]

Kurt stiffens in his jacket, smoothing down the lines of the uniform absently as another grinning boy in uniform brushes past him, chasing with outstretched hands under a spinning skirt. There’s a flash of red lipstick against white teeth, the giggles of a girl and the flurry of splaying hands passing over her waist. The music blares, a new song begins, and the night rolls on to wild fanfare.

The airman’s mess is decorated in low-hanging streamers, lit with rows of lightbulbs and glowing in the cool air of the night. He thumbs absently over the cuff of his jacket, and tries his very best not to look as lonely as he feels.

The dance floor is packed and brimming, spilling over at the edges with enthusiastic officers and a seemingly endless pool of girls to swing with. To Kurt, it just looks like a sea of colour, a mess of twisting fabric and kicking feet and jazz hands. The music could have been a dirge, for all he felt the merriment.

His heart hurts.

Out of the surge of bodies slips a solemn figure, shoulders drawn tight under his jacket as he moves, gliding effortlessly past the empty tables and chairs. Kurt’s breath catches in his throat, blue eyes huge and flickering as the officer stills by his side.

Kurt can smell him, feel the familiar heat of his body like a wave washing over him. Aftershave and fresh soap, the lights dancing off the slicked-down lines of his wavy hair. His eyes are dark and tea-stained green, made all the more intense by the haze of the night and the backdrop of beige and olive uniforms around them.

Blaine offers him a huge, strong hand splayed under spotlights, the lines of his fingers straining with nerves. Those eyes flick down, back up, and there’s so much more behind them.

Kurt forgets to breathe.

“May I have this dance?” he offers, his voice thick and low.

Kurt swallows, flicking quick glances around to see if anyone had noticed.

“I - we,” he stammers softly, then breathes. His lungs expand with violent relief, and the blood rushes to his head. “Yes,” he breathes. “I would. But … we can’t.”

His lover’s mouth quirks. “My quarters,” he says, nearly a whisper.

Kurt fixes him with electric eyes.

Blaine’s gaze dips to the line of Kurt’s mouth. ”I need to hold you.”

Kurt affords him a tiny nod, the wild flash of his pupils betraying his racing heart.

“Wait for me.”

Louise’s GIF Tutorial

I’m pretty sure there are easier ways to make gifs but this is the way I make them. The good thing about this is that the only program you’ll need is Photoshop, nothing else.

Hope this helps!
